Michael Carabello (born November 18, 1947) is an American musician, best known for playing percussion with Santana during the band's early years. He is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Michael Carabello (born November 18, 1947) is an American percussionist (in particular the congas). He joined Santana to be a member on the group's first release (Persuasion single) in October 1969. Carabello stayed with them for 3 years until October 1972.
