Pluspetrol is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Cerro Grande and Peralta I and II wind farms in Uruguay, owned by the DIF Infrastructure V and DIF Infrastructure VI funds, managed by CVC DIF. These wind farms constitute the second largest private renewable power generation portfolio in Uruguay.

In 2009, Pluspetrol acquired assets that include concessions in Jagüel Casa de Piedra, CNQ-7 Gobernador Ayala, CNQ-7/A and Gobernador Ayala III, located in the provinces of Mendoza and La Pampa. These assets represent Pluspetrol’s main conventional oil field in Argentina.

This acquisition marks a transformational milestone for Pluspetrol, allowing us to multiply our production and reserves, and consolidating us as the leading private hydrocarbon company in Latin America.
