2020年12月12日 · Is it better to water before transplanting with coco or do you let them dry a bit before transplant? I'm going from 1 to 5 gallon pots. I chose 5 gallon vs 3 to reduce frequency of watering, and to (hopefully) maximize potential yield.

2011年9月15日 · I'm hand watering once a day at lights on to 10-15% runoff and just wanted to know if this is ideal or if it really even matters. I run coco in 7gal pots and I hand water the best way i found is to feel what it feels like when you first fill the pot with coco and put the plant in feel the wight of it then water it and feel the weight of it.

2021年9月9日 · If you use it with only water, either fill it when you are done running and hang it up or keep it totally dry between runs. If you put sugar in it, rinse and hang to dry after every use.

2012年1月26日 · If using hot water make sure to run some cold water through it before transplanting anything into it to cool down the coco... Try using a pillowcase or old sheet, too. It's how I've been doing my cleaning/rinsing of coir. And absolutely, yes, it's far better using warm or hot water than cold water for expansion and rinse.

2019年4月23日 · As I mentioned in another post dealing with snorkeling on Coco Cay, I had my own gear (including snorkel vest) and did just as Twangster mentioned -- left my towel with my (non-swimming) partner, and just walked into the water. Unfortunately, my (ancient) flippers split/cracked about 1/2 way out to the first raft (there were three of them).
