2008年9月17日 · Now, for a new solution you would put together a VBE multiplier. This part is used as a temperature sensor to compensate the bias current. Using a pair of diodes is risky as they need to be mounted on the heat sink directly. The transistor in a VBE multiplier can mount in the same place with a small PCB.

This voltage is rated at 7mA of current. the function of the diode is to DROP it's voltage 4.65 mV (+/- 0.35mV) for every one degree centigrade rise in temperature.

2016年1月8日 · One has two STV diodes each side on the drivers heat sink and the other has only one a side on the outputs heat sink. Look at the parts list and schematic, compare with the device type in use, and see if that make sense. They came from Pioneer that way. My service manual shows two per side, but they weren't all that way. Working on my own stuff.

2006年4月1日 · The two-layer diode (STV-2H) is mounted to the small heatsink of one of the driver transistors on the driver boad itself, instead of the big heatsink. Perhaps this might be the lesser of any evils concerning diode swapping, since the driver transistors very likely stay cooler than the outputs at higher currents anyway.

This document provides specifications for an STV2H diode. The diode has a maximum forward current of 150mA, a peak forward surface current of 20A, and a maximum forward voltage of 10V under test conditions.

I have replaced the STV-2H with two 1N4001 diodes in series, but I don't know the specs for the thermistor TH801 that is put in parallel over the R802, see the uploaded schematics.
