South Glenmore Park in Calgary's southwest is the area surrounding the south side of the Glenmore Reservoir which includes the Weaselhead Natural Area and has numerous trails and pathways, tennis courts, playgrounds and the Variety Spray Park.

Parking can be found at the South Glenmore Parking Area West just off of 90 Ave S.W. and Oakmount Dr. S.W. South Glenmore offers a spray park located in the S.W. corner of the off of the park off of 24 St. S.W.

From the awesome paved trails to the gravel and dirt trails that narrow down to walking through tall grass as you shortcut towards the Elbow river bridge it is a nice place to visit. One of my favourite spots is next to the marina watching the sun set reflecting on the water.

This is a very popular area for mountain biking, running, and walking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are April through October.

There are also walking, biking and hiking trails as well as tennis courts. Quinterra Legacy Garden Music Park and South Glenmore Bike Park.

2015年7月24日 · Surrounding Park Area: The playground is very close to Glenmore reservoir, home of the Glenmore sailing school which also has boat lessons. There are also walking, biking and hiking trails as well as tennis courts.
