2018年7月28日 · It is really fun to play. Short-scale basses with maple fingerboards remain somewhat unusual (I'm not sure why that’s the case). I think it’s a really nifty bass. If I could find a Squier Vintage Modified Mustang Bass in sunburst with a maple fingerboard, I would buy it for sure (sorry for the off-topic irrelevancy there).

2019年1月25日 · My favorite bass. Honestly. Once modded to liking it's a sweet light and ergonomic instrument. Quality is there as most modern Squier and the platform to mod is endless because of the Strat pickup (just go look at how many Strat pickups there are out there.) Simple wiring and electronics like any single coil.

2007年3月11日 · I can tell you that anything that will fit will be better than the hunk o'junk that is in there. The original PU at least sported Alnico 5 magnets, so if you brought them close enough to the strings, you could get get respectable bass response via proximity effect. The new version is ceramic. It's the same PU used on the Squier Strats.

2006年3月27日 · For anyone considering replacing the original bridge on a Squier Bronco (two-saddle) here's a tip to make the change a bit easier. The Bronco and Musicmaster (stringthrough, 4-saddle) bridge have 17mm spacing. The Bronco will support a bridge with 19mm spacing (standard Fender).

2005年8月6日 · *-DIY Bass VI body from African Maghonie with a poplar "stripe" in the middle. (in fact two African Maghoinie planks sandwiched with a thin layer of poplar in between) Body is about 8 mm longer to compensate for the absence of 2 frets that are on the Bass VI, but not the Squier Bronco neck.

2012年9月11日 · Just an update for anyone looking for replacement tuners on their Bronco bass. My A string especially was constantly in need of tuning, and the E wasn't great either. I searched all around finally got a model #, Ping 2681, direct drop in, no drilling, holes in the back of the headstock all lined up with the stock tuner holes.
