Saint Vincent Ferrer High School is sponsored by the parish of Saint Vincent Ferrer, located at 65th Street and Lexington Avenue. The first school was built in 1884 and was staffed by the Dominican Sisters of Saint Mary of the Springs.

ENROLLEMENT - Saint Vincent Ferrer High School
For 2023-24 school year, there are 330 students. The current freshmen class (SVF'27) is made up of 59 students from all five boroughs, Long Island, Westchester County and New Jersey. Faculty. There are 34 teaching faculty for a student ratio of 15:1. There are 10 male teachers, 2 Dominican Priests , 3 Dominican Sisters and 19 other female teachers.

Saint Vincent Ferrer High School Scholarship Offerings. 2025-2026. All Scholarships are for 4 years provided that the student maintains the appropriate academic and behavioral expectations. DOMINICAN SCHOLARSHIP This scholarship is awarded to students who performed in the highest percentiles on the TACHS as well as in their Middle School grades.
TUITION - Saint Vincent Ferrer High School
For 2024-2025 school year, tuition is $11,800 and the annual fee is $1,000. Tuition can be paid annually, bi-annually, quarterly, or with a 12-month tuition plan. Scholarship and Financial Aid. Ferrer Scholars and Honors programs are merit-based scholarship programs.
ACADEMICS - Saint Vincent Ferrer High School
Seniors and Juniors are able to earn up to 18 college credits in Economics and Spanish while attending college-level classes at Ferrer during the regular school day with their regular Ferrer faculty, who have been approved by St. John's as adjunct professors.

HISTORY - Saint Vincent Ferrer High School
The school was founded in 1884 by Dominican Fathers of St Vincent Ferrer Church to meet the grade school needs of the ever-expanding neighborhood. The high school was added in 1909. The present school building was erected and the high school was restructured as an all girls' college preparatory high school in 1954.
