Thoughts on Steel Warrior Knives - BladeForums.com
2009年7月14日 · Steel Warrior and Rough Rider knives are probably produced by the same manufacturing companies. I own examples of both brands and they are both very well made for the money. The only thing I don't like about SW knives is the logo. The picture of the Samurai Warrior or whatever he is, doesn't seem to match well with a traditional knife.

2001年4月20日 · This is a framelock stilletto. I have seen this knife under the Boker brand and wondered why it would be included in the Steel Warrior brand. It is far from traditional. That said, excellent knife. Locks up like a vault. Zero blade play. Has a belt clip for tip up carry, and can be waved from my jeans pocket.

2001年4月20日 · Some of you have seen my "first case knife" thread. The slippie bug has bit me pretty bad. I have 3 case knives now. I was at a army surplus store today and ran across a steel warrior knife for about ten bucks. I thought well, for 10 bucks i'll try it. I'm impressed with it for the price. fairly good fit and finish. almost as good as my case ...
Steel warrior now available in carbon steel - BladeForums.com
2016年2月11日 · Tonight I picked up a Frost Steel Warrior trapper at a hardware store in a small town near me. There was a display case with a number of Frost knives under plexiglass, including a selection of slip joints: the trapper, a stockman, a peanut, a congress, a small toothpick and a few one-handers that held no interest for me.

2007年8月10日 · Steel Warrior, Frost Family, and Uncle Lucky are Frost knives. These are very nice knives even if they are inexpensive and made overseas. Frost also owns Hen & Rooster, Buck Creek, and I believe a couple other German companies. These are also nice knives. That said, most of their stuff is not good. Do you have a pic of your knife? Do you like it?

2008年1月14日 · Stealth Warrior is a guardless 9" (as I remember) bladed knife, that Bob used to wear upside-down. Pygmy was basically a fixed blade version of the Pocket Hobbit (folder). Again as I remember, Randy Wanner did most of the design on the custom Warriors, that then became the Al Mar production Warriors, with Bob Taylor tweaking the design, then ...

2008年5月11日 · The Steel Warrior line from Frost also have favorable things said about them. US Classics are mentioned only once in a while and not as well liked as RR. Of all the Chinese knives I have purchased, my favorite is the Browning Congress pattern, a few more dollars than the typical RR or SW but very nicely made.

2008年10月4日 · My Dad carried a Frost knife that I always admired. It was called a sidelock and supposedly was a knockoff of a Cargill design. The bolster slid sideways and the blade locked. It looked a little like a Buck 110, but slimmer. I don't know what the steel was (some kind of stainless) but it was very hard. It held a good edge after you finally got ...

2001年12月1日 · The replacement offered was nothing like the knife I have, they wanted me to send my knife to them at my cost, and sent a money order for $5.00 to cover their costs. I mentioned that I could buy a new more similar knife from them for less that all of this was going to cost me, and was told that was my only option.
