2013年3月16日 · The step is 24", they usually don't even show the footing at the haunch, I'm am wondering how this actually gets constructed in the field and what the appropriate detailing should be. Per KootK's detail above, overlapping the footing would result in an large quantity of concrete at the haunch, or at least to my untrained eye.

2020年5月4日 · I created a new detail which is a modified version of Detail 3 but with the raised top of footing on either side of the stem for concrete coverage for the reinforcement above the pipe. It involves only a few scrap 2x for forms. I suppose I'll let the contractor decide if they would rather step the footing below or build to this detail.
