WEN Wet Stone Sharpener Review | BladeForums.com
2005年11月15日 · I'd say the build quality is likely WAY better on the tormek. The WEN is obviously an imported product made on the cheap. Your fit and finish will be lower for sure on the WEN, however, functionally you can get some pretty darn good results if you're willing to be patient. Many of the tormek Jigs do work on this machine.

Arbor Size for Wen BG4720 - BladeForums.com
2009年4月12日 · The above image is from the WEN web site (link below). It's a replacement wet wheel for the 4270, and the label shows it uses a 1/2" arbor. Another site page for the tool itself describes the wheels as 10" dia. x 2" width in size. So, with that info, it'll hopefully be easier to search for aftermarket wheels that might work.
Getting Started On Knife Sharpening Using the Harbor Freight …
2004年4月13日 · ETA: After some use, I've decided that I don't like the Norton Norax ceramic 1,200 grit belts for knife sharpening. The ceramic is just too aggressive for a knife edge IMO. Takes off steel really fast, and gets the steel pretty warm relatively quickly when I was testing them on some cheap stuff. I'll be sticking to the regular Al Oxide Norax ...

Toohr #3 knife sharpener - BladeForums.com
2022年9月25日 · I solved that with a $1.50 spring from the hardware store. Now I don't even bother tightening the stone retaining screw, although I probably should. The second issue occurs with some blades shapes. To be fair, no high end knife sharpener seems to handle every blade shape with a single set of clamps.
Head To Head Compairson Jet Wet Sharpener vs WorkSharp Ken …
2014年2月15日 · Jet Wet Sharpener $315 plus $40 if you want a blade jig (I don't use it, preferring to get a convex edge doing freehand) The Jet can be upgraded with a lazy susan, and a two drawer pedestal. Those two items, push the Jet to over $400 total cost. WorkSharp Ken Onion with Blade Grinder, and two sets of belts, including leather strop $$315
