2021年9月21日 · Unlike these well-known and beloved landmarks, there is one gentle behemoth that stands in the guard of Aggieland with the most supportive words, “WELCOME TO AGGIELAND.” Asbury Water Tower (AshT) has given me a sense of peace and calm ever since my first day on campus.

2013年8月27日 · The current water tower that welcomes visitors and students to campus was built in 1975. The structure is 185-feet tall, holds two million gallons of water and was originally painted “sky blue” to blend in with sky, according to a 1974 Eagle article.

Also at commencement the water tower, the senior class gift, was formally dedicated. This tank represented a major improvement in the town’s only water system, and provided sufficient water pressure for the first fire hydrants in town—all of which were on campus.

2020年4月28日 · Jesus Water Tower. For a "religious" addition to your water tower collection, I reverently submit the one in my tiny hometown: Wilmore, Kentucky. Atop the tower -- which sits on the Christian campus of Asbury College -- is a large cross. The cross can be seen from quite a distance away, even at night.

Crafted with care and complete with the cross at its apex, the water tower measures just shy of 8" in height and weighs-in at a generous 18oz, making it a true collector's piece. Each piece also has some slight distressing to mimic the real-life water tower.
