Due to work and home responsibilities, part-time, online programs are my only realistic option and I found that ASU has one of the only accredited online EE programs out there. I'm just curious about other people's experiences and recommendations. I'm also open to other programs/degrees so feel free to make suggestions if you have them.

2024年5月25日 · ASU Online is a lot of teaching yourself- reading the book, watching prerecorded lectures,etc. Almost all my classes had proctored exams. Semesters are cut in half so you’re doing 2 classes in 7 weeks instead of 4 classes spread over 15. If you’re self-motivated and can learn from a textbook you should do just fine.

2023年6月29日 · Charging the same for online as in person is ridiculous. I found a top notch program through Georgia Tech for just over 10k as compared to ASU over 30k. The Georgia Tech online program was 1/3 the cost as their in person program. Schools that charge the same for online programs as their in person program are just ripping you off

2022年5月24日 · That being said, my physics education from ASU has set me up very well for my PhD and I was able to get into some very competitive programs (CU Boulder and Michigan State, #1 in nuclear physics). I have full faith that the online degree will provide you with as good of an education as an online degree can.
