The Parachute Regiment - The British Army
The Parachute Regiment is the airborne infantry regiment of the British Army. The 1st Battalion is permanently under the command of the Director Special Forces in the Special Forces Support Group (SFSG).

The current rates for officers just starting out in each of these ranks are: Officer cadets (at Sandhurst): £33,183 per annum. 2nd Lieutenant: £39,671 per annum. Lieutenant: £41,026 per annum. Captain: £50,540 per annum. Major: £63,387 per annum. Army officer pay is in line with other graduate jobs.
