2017年12月10日 · [5e] So, I'm going to be DMing the one-shot Wolves of Welton this week, and I have the PHB, but it says that the stat block of Commoner is PHB p345, which I happen to know isn't true. So, I either need to know which rulebook it's in, or just the stat block itself.
Commoners do not actually have 10s in every stat. : r/dndnext
2021年11月27日 · These are commoners. In a feudal system (which much of 5e is based upon) a commoner is a farm hand and not a scribe or someone with access to education. An “office worker” stops being a commoner as soon as they have access to the resources outside of a commoner’s life. Additionally, 10’s in a stat aren’t an objective and measured value.
The Commoner's Stat Array, or 'That's not how averages work!'
2021年12月9日 · Yah that not how probability works with 3d6. 9.25% are 15 or better. Very like there are many people in a village with somewhat high stats. You are better off thinking about other stat blocks as modifiers too if you introduce variability. A lion would be +4 to the roll or something. Tbh there isn’t a lot of room for exceptional stats in 5e.

2021年7月31日 · Such a simple thing to forget too. And taking warlock up to 8 is way too long to play with so little utility. Alright, nevermind. The whole thing is a wash. I suppose this could still be a viable low stats build, but it won't work for a commoner stats build unless you make a non-human commoner that actually starts with a racial ASI.

2021年6月5日 · I don't generally use commoner stat blocks. Best Way to create Peasant Character in DND 5e using DND Beyond
imo don't. Take the commoner statblock, and adjust it for their stats (I'd allow them to determine these now vs after they become adventurers as its silly otherwise), weapon, armor (if any) and race (err species). That's it - give them a statblock, not a character sheet.
Stat Blocks for Every Class At Every Tier : r/DMAcademy - Reddit
If you want to use these as templates to class up an existing monster, I recommend just stapling the actions onto the monster's stat block, maybe adding the features and save proficiencies if you're feeling ambitious. I'm gonna go through in a bit and properly calculate CR for all these, but I'm a tad burnt out at the moment.
Can someone explain to me why you would ever use the …
2023年2月22日 · People use the Commoner stat block because they want to use the Commoner stat block. There's just no real reason to create 3,000 NPCs and populate a city map with them, complete with day & night shifts to make the world seem more "lively". Your players are not going to interact with them all.
Vistani Stats? : r/CurseofStrahd - Reddit

It has a Vistana Assassin, Vistana Bandit, Vistana Bandit Captain, Vistana Commoner, Vistana Guard, Vistana Spy, and Vistana Thug. They all look like the stat blocks associated with the creatures from the Monster Manual, but with the curses and Evil Eye added in.
