2015年2月3日 · I only see the objection when there is a private ceremony (or courthouse, or whatever) and then another "public" ceremony with reception later. Many people don't have objections when a second ceremony is styled as a vow renewal rather than a wedding.

2021年10月26日 · You probably won't be able to do the ceremony the same day as the reception if you want to do a courthouse wedding, the courts won't be open on Saturdays. I think your plan is perfect! I personally would get two different dresses, one simpler for court/dinner and then a fancier one for the reception!
