2015年10月27日 · My wife and I are looking to add another doberman to our family but we are having some trouble locating one at the right price. we are looking for a 5-10 week puppy that DOES NOT have its tail cut or ears cropped. if anyone has any information on where we can locate one we would really appreciate it!

2024年8月6日 · They possibly can be depending on the individual ears weight and length, but they won't look anything like a cropped ear. Most dobe people would say that a dobe with uncropped fully-standing ears merely looks a bit goofy.

2017年9月12日 · Docking I don't mind I actually prefer that to a natural tail. Looking for a doberman as a family dog for my wife and my son. Went hiking with my wife and her friend's natural ear doberman female and it was just as imposing without the ears cropped and overall beautiful dog with a great temperament.

2010年5月4日 · To me a doberman doesn't look like a doberman without cropped ears. You might be better off keeping cropped ears clean and dry and avoid ear infections over a natural ear later through life, but then through the posting process you might be more prone to sores or infections then a natural ear that doesn't get posted.

2023年7月27日 · These are not the ears of a Doberman specialist cropping vet. These are pit bull style battle crop ears. They didn't take the small V section out at the base that Doberman croppers remove, that make the ears stream line down to the jaw smoothly, without that triangle area at the bottom sticking out. Not many vets crop.

2022年2月2日 · Hi everyone, Posting here as doberman folks are the experts when it comes to ear cropping and the issues that come with them. I have a 10.5 month old Cane Corso puppy who had his ears cropped at 9 weeks old. They were both doing okay without any posting for about 5 months at which point one of those ears flopped over.
