2017年7月7日 · I used Cummins Seal and Wear Sleeve #3802820. I cleaned the crank and inspected it for wear groove. Didn't have one but used the sleeve anyway. I pressed the install tool on the front housing and tapped seal in from backside cover until flush with install tool. I used blue loctite on outside of seal before install.

2010年7月29日 · Obtain a seal pilot/installation tool from a crankshaft front seal service kit and install the pilot into the seal. Apply a bead of Mopar Silicone Rubber Adhesive Sealant or equivalent to the gear housing cover. Be sure to surround all through holes. Using the seal pilot to align the cover, install the cover to the housing and install the bolts.
