2017年3月23日 · I’m in the same boat as you! Just got my upper front tooth (tooth #8) extracted on July 16 and bone grafting. Oral surgeon placed flipper after stitching me. No bleeding or no gauze in my mouth afterwards. However, a few hours later after taking off the flipper for the night there was minor bleeding which was expected but by day two no bleeding.

2004年7月12日 · Re: Front tooth extraction - replacement options?? A good thing about an implant is that the teeth around the one thats missing don't need to be messed with. I believe the price of an implant is $1500-2000, I think.

But as you can imagine, i don't want to have no front teeth for a long period of time. I had my #9 (top front left) extracted three days ago and am wearing a flipper until the implant and final cosmetic work, which resumes in three months. I walked out of the extraction appointment with the flipper and it felt fine.

I've read that root canalled tooth matter can be a little more brittle and more prone to breaking, but that shouldn't be a problem for a dentist-- extraction with straight roots is really a quick and simple procedure.

2016年10月1日 · I know he's right, but it's a FRONT tooth. I think most people would have feelings about losing a front tooth!!!! Anyway, i went to my (new) dentist today to discuss options. He went over all of the possibilities (partial denture, bridge, implant) and recommended the implant (important factor was the fact that it's a front tooth).
