HMIS Khyber (J190) was a Bangor-class minesweeper built for the Royal Navy, but transferred to the Royal Indian Navy (RIN) during the Second World War.

During the night of 30/31 December 1943, HMIS Khyber parted company. In the morning of 4 January 1944, the corvette HMS Rockrose (T/Lt. H.J. Makepeace, RNR) joined. The convoy arrived at Aden on 5 January 1944.

HMIS Khyber (J190) was a Bangor class minesweeper which served in the Royal Indian Navy (RIN) during World War II.[1] Khyber was scrapped in 1949. HMIS Khyber was ordered from William Hamilton and Company, originally for the Royal Navy as HMS Harwich in 1939.
