History - Innsbruck Inn
The Innsbruck Inn at Stowe has been in operation since 1972. The history of the inn, however, dates back to 1963, when Jean-Louis & Lucille Drolet, both avid skiers, fell in love with Stowe and the surrounding mountains, and purchased the streamside property after several visits.

The path starts at the inn, winds its way through forests and meadows, crosses the West Branch River 11 times on arched wooden bridges, and eventually ends at the Stowe Village, with easy access to Main St. Along the way are numerous shops, lodges, and restaurants all most accessible from the path.
