2021年11月16日 · Kawasaki FX850V-BS13 - put a new oem carburetor from kawasaki in after the old one got cracked by a falling tree limb. (Not my mower). Mower had been setting for awhile. After new carb install engine runs rough and backfires thru the exhaust. Found coil on left bank was week so I changed it and air gapped it. Changed both plugs.

2022年5月21日 · New Hustler X-One with 2.9 hours started running rough, disengaged PTO but enging continued to run rough with black smoke before dying. Difficult to restart, will only idle rough with black exhaust, cannot advance throttle without dying, and mower cannot be moved without engine dying.

2017年8月8日 · I have a gravely 460 w the kaw fx850v. Mower lost power and quit. Would only run w choke at about 3/4 closed. Replaced fuel lines, fuel filter, pump, fuel solenoid, and now coils. Runs a little better, but the biggest improvement came when I cleaned the surface of the flywheel magnets with emery cloth. I'm guessing the rusted up after I hosed ...

2021年11月18日 · I am hoping for advice from a seasoned Kawasaki engine tech. Here's what I have: a 9 year old Hustler Super Z that has had several parts replaced, good pumps and motors, mows great but has right at 2000 hrs on the Kaw FX850V-CS12 and is using oil. From personal experience, this is the beginning of the end for this engine.

2022年5月31日 · Just because you measured oil pressure doesn't mean it is staying above 15 psi [sensor trip point] when the engine's oil is hot. Normal minimum oil pressure for the Kawasaki FX850V is 43 psi. So you to measure the pressure when the engine is hot. I currently working on a similar problem with an engine with 3000+ hrs.

Jun 10, 2022 / Kawasaki FX850V failed with just 2.9hr of use. #6 The only reoccuring failure I have come across on those engines is a pushrod dropping into the engine because the single nut that retains the pushrod housing came loose.

2023年7月26日 · Run the engine and warm up thoroughly. Run the engine at 3 200 r/min (rpm) and read the oil pressure gauge. Oil Pressure 294 to 588 kPa (43 to 85 psi) Measurement Condition Engine Oil Temperature: 50 ∼ 60°C (122 ∼ 144°F) Engine Speed: 3,200 r/min (rpm) Note oil pressure switch operates at about 20 psi.

2012年5月22日 · New battery, new voltage regulator, new stator and new amp meter. Have 34.5 unregulated out of stator but only shows 12.3 at battery @3000rpm. What am I missing is there a way of checking the regulator with a multi meter? Any help will be appreciated
