2020年5月24日 · Personally I think Gillette arrived too late to the game. The large majority of men think that shaving is a chore and they will stick to carts and canned foam. A DE razor is not cool enough for them, because is old-tech, grandpa stuff. And a single cutting edge can't be better than 5 tiny blades, right? The others are men like us, here.

2021年11月12日 · This is the best razor Gillette has engineered since it abandoned DE razors in 1997. I don't like cartridge razors because they can't give a truly decent shave for the money. This is where Gillette belongs... providing great razors that real men (and women) can use well. You can keep the plastic where it belongs... somewhere else!

I thought it was the same head as the Muhle/Edwin Jagger, apart the cosmetic difference of the "valley" or "hollow" (or whatever it's named) shape of the base-plate, but after a very close examination it differs in other little details ...

2021年3月27日 · King C Gillette's head is similar to the Edwin Jagger DE89. It's practically the same head. It's mild but efficient enough. The 34C is slightly more aggressive and efficient than a DE89. 2020年6月18日 · Ok, so I tried one today out of the tuck that came with the King C. Gillette razor. I put it in my G4 Slim and gathered up with my home made glycerin soap. I like the blades. They seem to be on a par with GSBs or Gillette Platinums. The price seems to be a bit high. Sent from my KFKAWI using Tapatalk

2021年12月29日 · Now this is a nice razor to start the double edged safety razor journey It punches way above its price sticker! It is on the mild side. Shaves easy and forgiving. Forgiving for angle mistakes. It is nicely made good plating. It looks good It feels good I like some heft this is not light. Enough knurling to give grip could be a bit more.

2020年6月21日 · I loaded it with a Gillette Silver Blue and lather up with some Taylor’s of Old Bond Street and shaved with it. It was incredibly mild. So mild that I thought there was a problem and there was, a paper insert in the head that I somehow missed. Today, I gave it a try again and still found it to be the mildest razor that I own.

2022年3月4日 · I can use the same handle on several razor heads which gives a familiar feeling of consistency. An R41 head, plus R89 head, plus MR11 handle costs less than buying the complete razors from Muhle. My Razorock German 37 head and Pearl OC head are also compatible with this handle.
