2018年7月19日 · Taken a couple trips now with the Pivot and NV 2.0. Oh my. Happiness is a swing away rear Pivot. Its rock solid from what I can tell, smooth to extend and retract, and makes getting things out of the back Oh So Easy, when the rack or Bikes are on. Big thumbs up to Kuat for the Pivot, which again I think Rac attach makes for them.

2021年3月14日 · I am using the Kuat Pivot with my rear carrier. It allows the entire carrier to pivot out of the way for quick rear door access. I did need an adapter to allow the pivot to fit behind my half step. The pivot would hit the half step before the holes would align in the hitch receiver. Needed about 1/2 inch more into the receiver to get the pin in.

2020年10月13日 · Looking at the Kuat Pivot V2, the driver side swing is sold out most places. Passengers side swing in stock locally at REI. Found the driver swing with a $25 discount at Performance Bicycle, due in stock 4/25/22.

2017年9月3日 · Kuat Pivot plus NV 2.0 Bike mount I just updated my rack from the Yakima swing daddy to the pivot/NV 2 and am impressed with the improvement. But I was disappointed that the pivot didn’t have the same cam tightening hitch attachment that the rack has.

2018年5月11日 · The main issue was the Pivot sat directly behind the exhaust, it would heat up and even melted the plasic piece between the two arms above the Kuat logo. I will try to attach pics. The bikes and rack would bounce around a lot and the threaded hitch bolt (Pivot to Curt)would loosen after a couple hours driving.

2021年5月17日 · Owl tire carrier carrying LT 265/70 R17, Rack Attach driver side pivot, 1Up USA rack. I have three trays mounted in these pictures, but have a 4th when I need it. The driver side pivot is nice because it allows me to open the rear passenger door fully if necessary.

2023年3月22日 · Agreed. It's not optimal, but I don't often need a third and fourth bike. What I actually used it for mostly, prior to the Kuat Pivot, was to hold the bike rack when I got situated at a camp site. I still use it occasionally though. Most times when there is a need to haul four bikes and four people, it's a somewhat local trip of 90 miles or less.
