2020年4月25日 · I have given them away or thrown them away. Not worth my time to fight with them. FTF and double feeds. Funny thing is that I expected the steel mags to work flawlessly, just like the Checkmate Steel mags do in my M1A. And because of the perfect function of those CM steel mags in the M1A, I loaded up on AICS steel mags in the beginning.

2018年3月21日 · Magazine conversion kits allow a customer to convert all metal M14/M1A magazines and metric FAL magazines to AR-10B series magazines. MAGAZINE INTERCHANGEABILITY: 10 round AR-10B magazines and converted 20 round M-14 magazines will not work in early AR-10/AR-10A rifles, or in the current SR-25 rifle.

2010年10月23日 · The length is listed as 3.858". That seems kinda long, to me. The M1A magazine is 3.100", for comparison, including the protruding locking lug. I measured on the receiver that I'm making and that length would put the front of the magazine ahead of the lugs. I've confirmed the same on my varmint gun, which is a .223 Rem 700.

2019年11月1日 · Many years ago when I had the M1a and Springfield Armory magazines, I standardized on an OAL of 2.815". Load was 175SMK, 42.2gr IMR-4064. Still shooting that in Savage 24" 11FV, and may soon also be shooting 168 HPBT-Match and 42.8gr of IMR-4064 in the soon arriving 20" PSA PA-10.

There was a standard at the beginning, it was the Armalite magazine now known as SR25 pattern magazine. Reid Knight just happened to buy all of the surplus Armalite mags and the AWB put a 10 year hold on the civilian market development.

2019年7月14日 · The mag block makes a noticeable difference with a metal magazine. With a polymer magpul, I am assuming the plastic flexes too much for the mag block to prevent extra movement. In general, the metal magazines work much better in the chassis than poly mags. The MDT didn't have any problems, unless using the magazine on a barricade.

2019年11月6日 · I checked and buygunstuff.com has black for $11.59, each. I've bought a Magpul PRS stock, UBR stock and various Magpul 5.56 and 7.62 mags from them. They have the best prices on Magpul, that I've found and they are quick to ship.
