This project's aim is to share the history and aesthetic of the font "Montserrat". I created this modern design using the colors of the Argentinian flag, as well as graphics made from the letter forms themselves. Since the font released in 2011, the font is very new compared to many of the other fonts that were included in the project.

Bold color choices, geometric shapes and heavy font weight work to make a striking visual. Constructed as a tribute to Julieta Ulanovsky, this piece uses solely the Montserrat typeface to create a visually appealing design.

Montserrat in use. Designed by Julieta Ulanovsky, inspired by posters and signs in the Montserrat neighbourhood of Buenos Aires. Released in 2011. In 2015, a full set of weights and italics were developed in collaboration with Ale Paul, Carolina Giovagnoli, Andrés Torresi, Juan Pablo del Peral and Sol Matas.
