Moonstone Beach is actually part of Clam Beach but has it's own name. Take the Westhaven exit from 101 and follow the signs. This beach offers breathtaking views of rocky coastal outcroppings studded with pine.

Moonstone is a picturesque beach with rocks and larger sea stacks poking up out of the surf. The large two-humped rock island known as Camel Rock is visible to the north. At the north end of Moonstone Beach there are hidden caves to explore at lower tides.

One of the area’s most accessible beaches, Moonstone is a beloved destination for surfing, tide-pooling, rock-climbing, horseback riding, boating, fishing, family-safe swimming, and picnicking.
