Hidalgo del Parral is a city and seat of the municipality of Hidalgo del Parral in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. It is located in the southern part of the state, 220 kilometres (140 mi) from the state capital, the city of Chihuahua, Chihuahua.

Hidalgo del Parral es la segunda ciudad de Chihuahua con mayor número de edificios con más de 100 años de antigüedad. Fue reconocida por el INAH como Ciudad de Monumentos Históricos. Fundada en territorio de los indios conchos, tuvo épocas de gran apogeo minero, agrícola y ganadero.
