2021年1月4日 · I have some 1x3 ship tokens but its really hard to move and turn on the hex grid because roll20 needs you to snap the middle of the ship token in the middle of a hex and not between them. The alternative is to just turn of snapping but then movement becomes really hard to track, especially on ocean tiles that all look pretty much the same.
Crafting a Sailing Ship in D&D 5E using Downtime : r/DMAcademy …
2020年8月6日 · A sailing ship normally costs 10,000 gp, so the construction cost would be about 5,000 gp plus the cost of labor (somewhere around 250 - 500 gp depending on the number of laborers required). Matching that up to another 5,000 gp cost on the Bulding a Stronghold table the construction time would be 60 days.
Rules for sailing. : r/DnD - Reddit
2016年9月29日 · D&D isn't really designed around this kind of story, so you're going to find combat getting stale if most of the combats are on the decks of sailing ships. Especially if they're on the deck of the same sailing ship. :-) You're going to run into more or less the same monsters, too; there just isn't the ecosystem to keep Huge creatures or weird ...

Let's not quibble about curved bottoms and such, but just assume that those dimensions are rougly accurate. That 2,112 cubic meters of ship. Let's assume 5% of that volume is wood (white pine).
The Naval Code (V0.6) - An Updated Guide to Seafaring in DnD!
2018年12月6日 · To balance that, the AC of a ship is 10 + the helmsman's proficiency bonus with water vehicles + the ship's mph speed. In the hands of a skilled sailor, a fast ship should be rather difficult to hit. Ship HP is 1/25 the gp cost in the PHB, but I factor in siege weapons dealing double damage to them, so a PHB Sailing Ship piloted by a 1st level ...
D&D 5E 5 e sailing speeds - EN World
2014年8月27日 · So with my Swashbuckling Sailor Warlock PC, I was looking into sailing speeds. The PHB has 2 mph for a sailing ship, which seems quite low. At the url below (sorry , no linky allowed from me) , it says speeds for ancient sailing ranged from a little under 3mph ( < 2 knots ) up to 12 mph ( ~8knots).
What are the skills needed for sailing? : r/DnD - Reddit
Vehicles (water) covers sailing vessels. If they hit a rough patch and damge their ship, they might use Carpenter's tools. And you can definitely cover off in various ways with the more mainstream skills. My recommendation is to throw a problem at the party, and let them tell you what skill they want to use and how they want to use it.
