Sims 4 Furniture cc not showing up in build mode - EA Answers HQ
I've been playing sims 4 for a couple of years and every single time i've downloaded TONS of custom content. Every once in a while, I will uninstall sims 4 because I get bored of it, wiping the entire mod folder and tray folder clean and empty. I just started playing again in September, but now I have a problem - none of my furniture cc is working!

@robgriffin @inbredyokel This is almost certainly due to a broken mod, and many of the mods broken today aren't listed here because it's still just a few hours after the patch OR they're 18+ mods OR they require either XML Injector (broken) or Lot 51 Core Library (broken) and therefore aren't listed separately.

@VictoriaDuh thats alright! just go into your files (i dont know about mac, but on windows its probably in documents or program files), to Electronic Arts, then the Sims 4, and go to the Mods folder. I updated and went through all my mods to see which could be causing the problem but nothing seemed to fix it. I still have said mods and can still place them but all furniture cc’s previously placed in all my sims homes have disappeared. Then delete the localthumbcache.package file from your Sims 4 folder and test everything in a fresh New Game (do not reload any of your old saves while the mods are removed). If the CC furniture still does not appear in a New Game, then you will know the mods are not causing the issue and that the CC furniture is likely obsolete.

There could be a chance that the furniture was a recolor or retexture of another mesh. If so then you will need to download the original mesh; if the furniture appears in the game, but doesn't show up when you place it, it will usually show up later on in the game, though I don't know how to solve that problem indefinitely.

Hi, I play Sims 4 on PC and yes I have mods but I don't use cc's for stoves, etc. I had them before and when I had them it wouldn't give me that 'script error' message.
