2020年8月31日 · @qwerty - Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine (SADMA) works well in a conditioner as does Behentrimonium Methosulfate. They aren’t “new” technology as I was using SADMA in the mid-1990’s in our Tresemme Conditioner.

2020年10月8日 · Hi everyone, I’ve read Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine and Brassicamidopropyl Dimethylamine are silicon alternative and also don’t give your hair a build up which would be perfect for my super fine hair. I’ve tried them too many times in a conditioner formula but they made the conditioner so runny and then separation and a big disappoint.

So if you use some acid and make your solution at PH<PKa of the protonated form of amine, you will have their protonated form, and the surfactant began ionic. In that form are very more soluble, and u don’t need to go at their melting point.

2021年6月11日 · Cationics work best with hair conditioning no matter where that hair is found. The combo of behenetrmonium chloride emulsifying dimethicone 350 cst is the workhorse. Add Polyquaternium-10 and lactic acid-neutralized stearamidopropyl dimethylamine and you have a top-shelf product. This is all based on cost considerations.

2017年5月19日 · It may improve things if you neutralise/slightly acidify the stearamidopropyl dimethylamine. I suggest about 1% lactic acid.
