2017年7月26日 · With vaulted ceilings you have two basic choices.... In-ceiling speakers with aimable tweeters to point them straight down. Or as above, use an on-ceiling option of some sort. The key is to have the tweeters pointing straight down, however you achieve this. Or Use Height speakers mounted on the walls at ceiling height.

2023年12月4日 · Look at post #4 above for angles. Basically you just want a minimum of a 5 foot height separation between your bed layer speakers (LCR & surrounds) and your atmos speakers. Location can be high up on walls facing major listening position (MLP) or on the ceiling or in the ceiling. Amazon has many different brackets for wall and ceiling mounts.

This is an unusual vaulted ceiling where one end of the room has a higher ceiling than the other, a 3ft difference, so from the seating position the ceiling will be 12' high on your right and 9' high on the left.

2020年11月27日 · I happen to have a vaulted ceiling and use the Upfiring R-625FA Atmos speakers and they seem to work well and the Atmos fills the room pretty good. Keep in mind that they were my first speakers so If i had a choice I would go with actual ceiling/wall mounted atmos speakers though as the others have suggested.

2015年11月13日 · The inner portion of the soffit (further toward the center of the room) is supported by 2x2's screwed into the ceiling rafters. Like seemingly many AVS'ers before this project I'd never owned a power tool. With the vaulted ceilings and my inexperience it was a lot of work to get things level, but if I can do it you can do it!

2009年9月21日 · I have attached a drawing to show the layout of the room. The red dots indicate the placement of the rear outlets and the blue dot indicates where the receiver termination lies. There is a ceiling ledge that comes out of the rear wall for about two feet before the vaulted ceiling starts. The vaulted ceilings are approximately 18' high.

2022年4月16日 · A ceiling had yet to be installed in our theater room. The main electrical distribution panel is about 15’ away from the theater room. There’s a drywall ceiling between the theater room and the electrical panel. There are 16” high open trusses holding up the floor above with the basement ceiling attached to the bottom of the trusses.
