2022年1月8日 · Play both mnk/controller. I really enjoy 120. I saw the top mnk team, all used 120 as well. With a more zoomed out fov the targets are smaller, but they strafe slower and the crosshair is somewhat actually usable. That’s just me coming from FPS games with customizable small crosshairs.

2021年11月16日 · High FOV makes close range more viable as you don't have to move your crosshairs as much to track fast moving targets but it makes long range tracking significantly harder since center frame is much smaller relative to low FOV. Low FOV far range gives a better zoomed center frame and a much larger target as a result.

2021年4月20日 · Adding 120 FOV would have all of the console playerbase complain (since their 90 FOV is a hardware limitation). Removing the 120 FOV entirely instead would have a huge chunk of the pc playerbase annoyed (since many have Ultrawide monitors and a narrow FOV can cause motion sickness).

Things feel 10x more in the way. 120fov is a blessing, they could give us back every single thing in wz1 and I would not go back strictly due to it still being 80fov for me. I think pc players had it fucking made in wz1 being on 120 FOV against 80. And wz2 giving everyone 120 really evened out the playing field.

2022年12月26日 · FoV cheat ironically is a gate way drug to other cheats like ESP, Aim Bot, skin changers, etc. like you said Rare has next to no anti cheat so making the FoV slider go to 120 would probably stop a lot of from going down this slipper slope. Editing basic engine files is a thing you have to do to a LOT of PC games.

2021年7月4日 · Because say for example: a galleon has all players who have 120 FOV vs a sloop who has 2players at 90 FOV. Well the galleon players are at a huge advantage by being able to see more around them. The potential for sneak attacks and what not are much slimmer when the people you're playing against have a wider FOV.
