2009年12月22日 · The 2.5L I4 used in the Cherokee and Comanche was designed and built by AMC. The AMC 2.5L I4 engine is completely different. Notice on the AMC 2.5L I4, the intake and exhaust manifolds are on the same side of the engine, the drivers side while the GM 2.5L I4 Iron Duke has the intake manifold on one side and the exhaust manifold on the other side.
2.5L stroker? - Jeep Enthusiast Forums
2007年2月26日 · The 4.0l throttle body install on the 2.5L does make a very noticable increase in performance. The sensors all have to be used from the 2.5L throttle body including the IAC base housing that attached directly to the throttle body. The seat bore for the IAC in the housing for the 4.0L is larger than that of the 2.5L.

Heater issue - changed everything, still low-moderate heat
2024年12月13日 · I have a Jeep Wrangler TJ 2.5L, 1999 with a heater issue. I have changed the heater switches (in the center console) and resistor out (behind the glove compartment) for new ones as it had the common problem of only blowing at full speed. Next I have fixed the 3 pressure actuators under the steering column and they work fine now as well.
Fourbanger history. The 2.5L story. | Jeep Enthusiast Forums
2010年4月18日 · The 2.5L (the old OHV valve engine used through 2002-ish) is basically a 4 cylinder relative of the 4.0L. They share costs by using similar machining operations, and many common parts (such as valvetrain components and internal engine parts that have nothing to do with length). The bore is the same as the 4.0L but the 2.5L has a slightly ...

2.5L Performance Mods That Work | Jeep Enthusiast Forums
2012年4月23日 · The 2.5L AND the 4.0L are BOTH tied up by the adaptiveness of the PCM. All modifications to intake and exhaust get nullified after a while. The "caps" programmed into the PCM routines and where the adaptiveness is heading to is what needs to be "addressed" ... and the chrysler pcms on wranglers (TJs) are still a a black box in that regards

2009年7月15日 · I have searched all over for the Ignition Cotrol Module on the YJ with no luck, Several posts mention under the reservoir, some on the firewall and I found one that said 93-95 has the ignition being controlled via the PCM. My 2.5L rebuild thread - Jeep Enthusiast Forums
2010年1月9日 · Good on ya for keeping the 2.5L! I plan to keep mine, swap in an AX15, 8.8, regear to 4.88s and call it a day. The 2.5L is as capable as anything else offroad when geared correctly. The engine is easier on parts as well so less trail repairs. It really does make a world of difference on the trails. Good luck with your build man!
2.5L exhaust - Jeep Enthusiast Forums
2015年8月11日 · btdub, I haven't really seen a lot of exhaust threads on 2.5L, though you might search in the TJ section of the forum, there are a lot more TJ 2.5's floating around than XJ ones. I do know that for smaller engines NOT trying to sound like a ricer the Flowmaster 40's are extremely popular.
