2013年6月4日 · Both 2960 and 3850 can be stacked. 3850 has 3 fans while the 2960 has one. 3850 has 2 power supplies while 2960 has one. 3850 can be power stacked while 2960 can not. 3850 runs IOS-XE while the 2960 runs IOS. Overall, the 3850 has a lot more functionality, but I am sure 3850 is a lot more expensive the the 2960. table-7 in this link

2019年4月17日 · Hello, I need to upgrade an old switch. I've copied over the newer firmware via tftp, but I see the original is a directory and not a bin file. Can I simple add boot system flash:/c2960-lanbasek9-mz.150-2.SE11.bin and reload and it should take the newer one? Thanks

2011年1月4日 · Nevertheless, it is true - I also do not know of any software-based way of interrupting the boot process on 2960 Catalyst switches. The only way to enter the bootloader prompt without forcing the switch to a boot failure was through the MODE key which Zdenek obviously wants to avoid.
