2007年8月7日 · The rain sensor was more of a gimmick than a serious option. It was meant to raise the top of a convertible IF it started to rain. Unfortunately all it would do was raise the roof. If you lowered your roof, according to the GM directions, the rear window would be unzipped.

2008年8月18日 · There are more 1957 Chevrolet convertibles out there then were manufactured by the factory. Many 2-door hardtops have been converted to convertibles. Has anyone performed this conversion who would be willing to explain the procedure? Aside from the frame, how can one tell the difference between the real thing and a conversion job?

2025年2月4日 · The rain-sensing/top-raising system seems to have been an option for Chevrolet Bel Air convertibles from around 1955 to at least 1957 or so; you can see the little gridded rain sensor here on this ’57 Bel Air convertible that was sold through Mecum Auctions:
