2019年4月14日 · Tubes supplied do not match specs: 5u4c for 5z4p; 6l6wgb for 6p3p; 6h8c for 6n8p Found which goes where from an old RCA tube manual I have and at AudioAsylum.com Took a chance, plugged it in. All tubes light up - appear normal. Put a portable CD player on it connected to one small monitor speaker. Sound is all distorted.

2013年1月3日 · The 6N8P is the same thing as a 6SN7GT, so you have lots of choices there. And you can use any 12AX7 tube in place of the 12AX7Bs. NOS or lightly-used Sylvanias are a good place to start for both of those.

2018年3月17日 · Schematic varies, the 6N8P contains two of the same circuit apparently, and the items are reversed between OC's documentation and that available elsewhere and in the kit. Confusing but not really a big deal The schematic shows a 1M resistor between pin 1 and 2 [or 4 and 5] of 6n8p which is not in OC's write up. anyone know the purpose?
