2009年9月8日 · I gapped them at 0.045 in. These plugs are one piece double platinums and should last a good while. Most of the people who respond here seem to have had problems with Champion plugs in other vehicles or applications. Those that have used this specific plug (7989) for the F 150 5.4 3V report positive results.

1999 - 2016 Super Duty - Spark Plugs - Champion or Motorcraft - 2008 F250 5.4 I changed all plugs to Champion 7989 1-piece a few years back at about 105,000 miles. A few months ago at about 135,000 miles one of the Champion plugs was causing misfire code and was cured with a new Champion plug.
