2024年11月3日 · Check voltage at the lock actuators. The XJ wiring was barely adequate when it was new and any wire degradation or corrosion between the 12.9 volts and lock actuators will create resistance that drops the voltage. Consider unplugging some relays and flushing them with electrical contact cleaner.

2012年5月16日 · Cause: Broken wire leading to the speaker. As you've already seen twice in this thread, broken wires in the door jambs are VERY common and usually the #1 source of electrical issues in XJ's. The constant opening and closing of the doors bends the wires back and forth, and Chrysler used really cheap grade wires, so eventually they break apart.

2015年9月15日 · This article applies to the Jeep Cherokee XJ (1984-2001). The crankshaft position sensor (CPS) is a common cause of stalling in the Jeep Cherokee. If the PCM fails to receive a signal from the sensor, it automatically shuts off the engine. The CPS can fail due to corrosion, or general wear and tear. Replacing the sensor should be simple right?

2011年10月19日 · I have a 2000 XJ Limited for which I just received the build sheet from Chrysler. It showed that I have a 124Amp alternator. I do not know if this is because it is a Limited or because it is a 2000, but if you happen to find one in a junk yard, it would probably be an easy plug into your XJ.
