ASDP'S History. The American Society of Dermatopathology turned 60 in 2022. The brainchild of 12 dermatologists who had a passion for the subspecialty, even before it was a subspecialty, ASDP has become a leading advocate for education and the teaching of dermatopathology.

The American Society of Dermatopathology (ASDP) is pleased to offer mentorships designed to enable young dermatologists and pathologists to acquire additional skills in dermatopathology that will further their careers by studying with a dermatopathology mentor.
