Ahti, in service to Yggdrasil as it branches into many worlds/dimensions. Maybe he’s a living personification of the tree itself and is able to provide the doorways because he is the doorway. It’s possible Mr. Door could be a shadow Ahti or maybe they’re two sides of the same coin.

2023年11月5日 · Firstly I don’t believe Ahti is being controlled by another being, I believe he is in full control and he is an old god and very powerful. I also don’t believe Ahti is being controlled by Alan’s story, he is there to help him and he is powerful enough to hold himself against the dark presence. So here is my theory with the evidence:

Ahti is named after the Finnish god of water/sea/ocean (Ahto) "It's not a lake, it's an ocean" is a proclamation by Alan after coming to the realization that The Dark Place is not just a different dimension, but one of multiple dimensions (House, Meadow, Temple, Hand, Hiss, etc)

IMO Ahti is some kind of personification of the Oldest House. When you first arrive, he “mistakes” Jesse for an applicant for the role janitor’s assistant. As the director, Jesse’s job is more or less cleaning up the messes that the FBC have gotten themselves into.

2023年12月10日 · Ahti is not the Finnish god of the Sea in the Remedy games, he is Mimir. When you realize this you see the parallels. I know many of you are convinced he is the God of the Sea, but it makes no sense in the Remedy games, because other than Cauldron Lake we don’t deal with any large bodies of water in which the Finnish God of the Sea resides.

2023年12月4日 · Ahti of the Kalevala IS NOT Ahti of Remedy. Ahti of remedy is the traditional Water God. The name was changed specifically to avoid confusion between the Kalevalas main character Ahti and the water god Ahti, so Ahti became Ahto. Ahti in Control and AW2 is Ahti/Ahto the Finnish diety of Lakes, Water and Fisherman.
