2017年7月17日 · Hi, I'm currently experiencing a problem with the Valvetronic system on my BMW with N52 engine and it would be great if I could get some advice. So I've removed the Valve cover to inspect Valvetronic system. So far, I've bench tested the Valvetronic motor and put DC current from a battery to it and the motor seems to be working as it should.

(--I'm trying to educate myself on the exhaust vibration dampener and support fix and which method applies to my engine). 2016年4月22日 · My car was running great. 2007 525xi, 158K miles, 6 speed manual, N52 engine. I started it one morning and it was running very rough with Service Engine Soon (SES) light on.

The N52 engine concept allowed for a substantial weight savings of 10Kg (22lbs.) over its predecessor the M54. The primary contributors to the total weight savings are the new composite magnesium-aluminum crankcase and the lightweight exhaust manifold.
