A lot of people say there's no reason to bring the used car to an independent mechanic to get checked out because it's "Certified" but my question is: How rigourous is the "Rigorous 125-point mechanical and appearance inspection' acctuallyyy?

2014年7月20日 · I drove a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix that was awesome in the snow until the tread on my tires was getting low. New tires made all the difference. They were not snow tires either. The car bottomed out if the snow was too deep but it plowed through.

2013年12月24日 · Sure. I've got 136k and ticking with the OEMs on my car. I pressure tested the system and pulled them for inspection a couple of weeks ago and all is good. I would define "normal wear" as what the manufacturer intended the vehicle to be used for.

2012年7月31日 · On my way back from the coast last weekend, the transmission started making a high pitched whine. Then the car started to lose power and eventually the oil transmission temp light came on. As I pulled off the freeway, the whine got very loud as I was slowing down. I stopped at a gas station and let the car rest for 30 minutes.

I dont want to worry about switches for turning a battery on/off for a jump start battery, I want two batteries but the car to think there is only one. pretty much wanna make it a 12v to 24v system.

2012年12月27日 · Air con on full heat and recirc. Drys out everything in the car real fast. Always do that if I get soaked in the rain and soon get dry. The AC drys the air which sucks the moisture out of the car. You get a bit hot but worth it if I have walked a lot of water into the car .... and we have had a lot of floods lately!

2018年6月18日 · There’s no such thing as lifetime fill ATF fluid unless you define “lifetime”. Many people dump their cars when the transmission breaks. Many dump them when the carpet smells funky. It’s the word-smithing about “lifetime” by manufacturers’ marketing people that bugs me. Their job is to get you to buy that car.
