2012年2月7日 · I had a Dutch Shepherd and now have a very nice (in my opinion) working line GSD puppy (8 months) and an adult in my household (2+ years). The drive is the same for the toy, I would say my GSD has better food drive. My GSD is pretty small and he is just as athletic and agile as my DS was. This will depend on lines/size of GSD I think.

2023年12月13日 · The dad is German Shepherd and the mom is Dutch Shepherd. They’re both friendly but definitely obedient to the owner and calm. The breeder is also a trainer for german shepherds and started training the puppies as soon as she could. The puppy will be 12 weeks old when we get him. She has sent us regular videos of training she has done.

2017年5月6日 · The KNPV dogs are basically a mix of the Malinois and the Dutch Shepherd. I have some very experienced friends from Holland that are KNPV National Judges, they say that if a dog is fawn colored in a litter it is a Malinois, a brindle colored pup is a Dutch Shepherd. In the KNPV line dogs, malinois and Dutch Shepherds can come from the same litter.

2011年4月21日 · Some breeders I'm considering include Spartanville Shepherds in Michigan (Czech/DDR), Liberatore in Maine (Czech/DDR), Van Gogh (West German Working), and Vom Rheinland (West German Working). I would appreciate any insight as how these lines differ, and what would best suit my needs. Thanks.

2018年6月19日 · Already love this little guy. I have had 2 German Shepherds, both female so have no experience with a male. To me, my girls were perfect in every way. I will be getting another Shepherd in the Spring and initially thought it would be a male but now having second thoughts remembering how much I loved my females.

2014年8月8日 · The easiest way to determine if a dog is west german or ddr is to look at the dog's registration on pedigreedatabase. So if you see a dog born in, say, 1985 and it has "SZ" with a bunch of numbers behind it, there's a 99% chance it's west german. If you see "DDR" with a bunch of numbers behind it, it's east german.

2017年5月28日 · For LE work and sport they are really nice dogs. If I could go out to our vendors and consistently find GSD's like my recently retired GSD, Boomer, that is all we would have. Unfortunately, they are hard to find, I always look, and would a choose a GSD with his temperament, nerves, and drive over a Malinois, Dutch Shepherd or X.
