Earthworm Jim is a 1994 run and gun platform game developed by Shiny Entertainment, featuring an earthworm named Jim, who wears a robotic suit and battles the forces of evil.

In Earthworm Jim on Sega CD, the player guides Earthworm Jim through a series of stages filled with enemies and other hazards. Jim's gun is a handy weapon for dealing with foes, but his head also serves as a defensive tool. Acting as a whip, his head is also useful for grabbing and swinging on hooks and other features throughout the levels.
