2021年12月7日 · You'll be a little more limited with the FM3 compared to the Axe Fx III, but you'd be hard pressed to think of a sound you couldn't create in the box with just a little tweaking. I let my bassist mess with mine for a few minutes and he crafted a rocky, grindy bass preset in just a few minutes that was fantastic. I think he used the Darkglass pedal.

2024年7月6日 · QC here. Love the form factor, UI, and amp models/capturing ability. At the moment, for classic rock - using mostly the Friedman 100 model which sounds great. Had an FM3 but got rid of it and really don't miss it.

2023年8月2日 · All 3 sound great with the FM3 sounding head and shoulders the best out of them all. All 3 will work great for gigs. If you arent gigging I'd go for sound quality first, i.e. FM3. If the answer to 2 is yes then MX5 is out. HX editor is easier to use than the FM3 BUT if you keep it simple they are about the same. Hope this helped.

2020年12月30日 · I think the amp models by themselves also suffer from the lack of such circuit in the Fm3 because the input impedance of most amps is is 1M with a capacitor, Axe-fx II and III have both, the FM3 apparently doesn't have this capacitor. That being true, the same amp through the same cab on the Axe-fx III will sound and feel different on the FM3.

2020年1月15日 · FM3 will have a tried and true Fractal sound and feature set, that's its strong point. I have no doubt it will be one of the best sounding and feeling floor modelers on the market with an exhaustive feature set. The Quad Cortex takes the cake for its touchscreen UI and 10 switch/knob controls.

2019年12月30日 · I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the FM3 does not support that much external hardware unless you are planning on going with midi switches (or adding a FC6 or 12). Without using midi, the FM3 alone is maxed out with any of these three options: 2 expression pedals 1 expression pedal and two external switches 4 external switches

2021年4月9日 · The FM3 version of the Horizon Precision Drive seems to be missing the gate functionality completely and needs a ton more gain to match the default setting on the Helix version which has drive at 2.5. I have never played the real pedal so I can't really say which one behaves in a more authentic way but the Helix gave me usable tones right away.
