Things you wish you knew before getting your first tattoo?
2021年11月22日 · My first tattoo (which I still love) is probably my least favorite just because the concept and overall idea were so over-complicated. My favorites are by far the ones I got without thinking too much about it, other than placement and how I liked the style in relation to the other pieces I have near them.

2021年10月25日 · My first tattoo was the same. Now I find artists whose work I love and then form my idea around their style. A sleeve is a huge commitment, so just make sure you find an artist whose style you really love, look at towns that are a few hours away even.

touch/scratch/pick at your fresh tattoo. wear linnen clothes for the first 5-6 weeks (scratchy fabric). let your pet animal touch the tattoo the first 5-7 days, if you can avoid it. wear tight clothes over it the first 5-7 days. go swimming for the first 6 weeks. workout for the first 2 weeks.

2019年6月25日 · My first tattoo (and only one currently) is on the back of my neck, and it hurt of course but didn’t hurt nearly as bad as it should’ve because it was a script and only took 10 minutes max to do. If you’re wanting a simple design, don’t put area and pain into a huge factor.

Arms and legs are a great first option, in terms of looks and also ease of tattoo. Your back is the largest canvas on your body; save that shit for when you're more experienced. And last of all: if you wanna go big, go for it.

I was even like it with mines, I also was a bit nervous during it so it made my tattoo take longer than it should have, was a bit shakey on it. Mainly eat well before hand, like have a decent meal in you an hour before hand, I always take larger meals before I get tattooed than I normally have.
