I use elements of realism through pieces that show snapshots of emotion and touch. My current work reflects a minimalistic approach in subject and composition while continuing to explore graphite and colored pencil mediums. Through my art, I want to connect with people and to be a part of the evolving body of art.

I am a local artist, author, photographer, historian, and musician. Inspired by the archaeology and history of the lead mining region, this site is dedicated to that special place in northwestern Illinois we call Galena.
