2022年11月8日 · - enable XMP, fTPM, disable CSM -> save changes on exit. Do a clean reinstallation of Windows with these settings and are likely good to go. There could maybe - never encountered such though - be an issue with keys in fTPM and in that case I would reset/clear those in BIOS and then do the steps mentioned above.

2024年3月1日 · This is normal behavior. Don't do this when Bitlocker is Enabled, because this option clears the actual TPM on the system. It erases all keys inside the TPM chip (Discrete TPM or fTPM, the one what is used). Be sure to completely poweroff the machine before rebooting. So in ASUS terms. Set this option to TPM Clear. Press F10, and then power off.

2021年2月25日 · I found out while assisting another User with the exact issue as you that all Ryzen Processor don't support fTPM. Only the Ryzen PRO Processor support fTPM. So even if you enable all correct setting in BIOS to run fTPM the computer will crash if you are using a Non-Ryzen Pro processor.

2022年7月24日 · Have a FX-8350 processor on a Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P motherboard. Neither appear to have ftpm required for Windows 11. Is there a processor that has it and fits the AMD+3 socket. No socket on mb for TPM2 add on.

fTPM is the cpu firmware version. The motherboard already has a built in TPM chip which is the required hardware for windows 11. From what I read, the fTPM is mainly for additional security with cpu virtualizations or something, but it's half baked …
