She is Goemon 's girlfriend, although he is sometimes scared of her due to her rather volatile temper and tendency to get mad at him. She is also a constant target of foes, with these not necessarily having to be enemies of Goemon.

Yae (ヤエ Yae?) is one of the main protagonists in the Ganbare Goemon series. I actually only first played this in 2016 but instantly fell in love and have since played many other Goemon games. Goemon's Great Adventure does probably take the top spot for me but this game is a true gem.
