2014年9月1日 · The HK416A5, the latest version of H&K’s successful AR-15 pattern short-stroke piston rifles, has been type classified by the German federal government as G38, according to Strategie-Technik. An unknown federal agency has already procured the rifle, and its 11″ barreled carbine version, classified G38C.

2017年10月12日 · It’s now official, the Special Forces of the German Army (Bundeswehr) will receive the Heckler & Koch HK416 as a new standard firearm. The model is the HK 416 A7 and it will be called the G95. This designation is a bit surprising as the HK 416 A5 is called G38.
